In supporting local small businesses and craft makers in the North East area, we hosted three makers’ markets, two at Hope Street Xchange, and one over at Sports Hall, University of Sunderland City Campus. Successfully, we generated a high footfall for each market.

We believe that a healthy mix of both food and craft stalls makes a great event, as it would be great for our visitors to attend and get some interesting and special stuff to purchase.

Therefore, our aim is to bring together communities of unique and diverse local businesses, artists, bakers, and craftspeople to showcase their unique works, giving them a good platform to get their businesses out there.

Last but not least, we would like to give a massive thanks to all stall holders, tenants and visitors!
